Welcome to Bulk Tracking Import ("we", "our", or "us"). We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal data. This privacy policy will inform you as to how we look after your data when you visit our application and tell you about your privacy rights.

2. The Data We Collect

We believe in data minimization. The only data we store in our database is the data strictly necessary for the application to function and authenticate with your Shopify store:

  • Your Shopify store domain (e.g., your-store.myshopify.com)
  • An encrypted API access token provided by Shopify to perform actions on your behalf

Important: We do NOT persistently store any of your customer data, product data, order information, or tracking numbers in our database. The CSV or Excel files you upload are processed directly in memory during your active session to update your Shopify orders and are discarded immediately after the process is complete.

3. How We Use Your Data

We use the access token provided by Shopify exclusively to:

  • Read order IDs to verify their existence and fulfillment status
  • Update the fulfillment status and tracking information of your orders as requested in your uploaded files

4. Data Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer your data to outside parties. Your data is only transmitted securely between our application and the Shopify API over HTTPS.

5. Data Retention

We retain your shop domain and access token only for as long as you have our app installed. If you uninstall the app from your Shopify admin, we will receive a webhook notification and promptly delete your store's credentials from our database.

6. Security

We have put in place appropriate security measures to prevent your data from being accidentally lost, used, or accessed in an unauthorized way. All API keys and tokens are stored securely.
